Lost In The Dream (2xLP) Released in 2014 on Secretly Canadian, Lost in the Dream is the War on Drugs' breakthrough third album, built by bandleader Adam Granduciel during a stretch of touring-induced anxiety and isolation. The Philadelphia group folds heartland rock, Americana, and hazy Krautrock synths into long, cresting arrangements, with saxophone and pedal steel drifting through the mix. Granduciel reportedly rewrote and re-recorded songs for over a year chasing the right feel. The result topped countless year-end lists and remains a touchstone of 2010s indie rock, its emotional weather matching its title. Received from Secretly Distribution
