Media Condition: Very Good Plus (VG+) Sleeve Condition: Very Good Plus (VG+) Texas Flood - After Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble tore up the 1982 Montreux Jazz Festival, Jackson Browne offered them free time in his Los Angeles studio. The demo they cut there caught the ear of John Hammond, who had signed Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen, and he took them to Epic. The band recorded this 1983 debut in about three days. It's named for Larry Davis's 1958 blues, and "Pride and Joy" became Stevie's signature song. In 2026 the Library of Congress added it to the National Recording Registry. Notes: Hype Sticker
