The Offspring - Years before Smash made them punk superstars, the Offspring recorded this raw debut in the summer of 1989 in Santa Ana, California, with producer Thom Wilson. It was first released in a run of just 5,000 copies on the tiny Nemesis label, and it took the band more than two years to sell them all. It's fast, snotty SoCal hardcore, including re-recorded versions of their earliest songs "I'll Be Waiting" and "Blackball." The band rarely plays anything from it live. This copy is the 2017 blue vinyl reissue.
